چکیده
A field experiment was conducted at Norman E. Borlaug Crop Research Centre, G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand during kharif (rainy) 2018 to assess effect enriched biochar (EB) based fertilizers on crop growth, productivity nutrients use efficiency in direct seeded rice (DSR). Enriched i.e. biochar-1 (EB-1), biochar-2 (EB-2), Urea (UEB-1) biochar-1(UEB-2) were prepared characterized IFS laboratory, GBPUA&T, Pantnagar. The laid out randomized block design with eight treatments 100% Recommended dose fertilizer (RDF) through conventional fertilizers, 75, 100 125% RDF EB-1+UEB-1 EB-2+UEB-2 no application as control replicated thrice. Highest yield parameters DSR recorded under fertility level. Application level also gave par its significantly higher (13.5%) compared similar both the EB 75% resulted fertilizers. Nitrogen uptake by grain straw However, among these 30.70% 29.50% more agronomic (AE) apparent nitrogen recovery (ANR), respectively

Effect of nitrogen supplying sources on nitrogen use efficiency in rice (Oryza sativa L. cv. Shiroudi)
The use of nitrogen fertilizer has a key role in enhancing agricultural productivity worldwide. In order to achieve an effective approach to enhance nitrogen use efficiency in rice, a field experiment was conducted in a randomized complete block design with three replications and 13 treatments on Shiroudi, a high yielding rice cultivar in Rice Research Institute of Iran (Amol) in 2015 and 2016....

The effect of seeding depth on emergence of red rice (Oryza sativa) ecotypes from Arkansas (AR), Louisiana (LA), and Mississippi (MS) was determined under dry-seeded rice production in clay and silt loam soils in Arkansas. By 21 d after planting (DAP), all red rice ecotypes had emerged from planting depths of 1.3, 2.5, 5.0, and 7.5 cm in both clay and silt loam soils. In silt loam soil, seedlin...

A field experiment was conducted during kharif season of 2010 and 2011 to investigate the optimization of nitrogen levels under different age of seedlings transplanted on growth, chlorophyll content, yield and economics of hybrid rice. Fifteen treatment combinations consisted of three levels of seedlings age (10, 20 and 30 days) and five levels of nitrogen viz. N0, N50, N100, N150 and N200 kg h...
